New website will serve as resource for families and youth across CNY

Over the past several months, we have had the pleasure of working with OnCare to help them not only design a logo for the organization, but we also were hired to build an interactive website that would position the organization as a resource for all visitors.

As part of a six year federally funded grant from SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), OnCare is a System of Care community initiative that supports Onondaga County children and youth (ages 5-21) with significant behavioral and emotional challenges and their families by improving the connection between existing services.

We worked very closely with representatives from around the county, including facilitating focus groups among youth, families and community groups to ensure that we encompassed all of the elements that combined to make OnCare a resource for families and youth dealing with emotional or behavioral challenges. The new logo illustrates OnCare’s community commitment.

The website is a resource for all visitors and supports OnCare as a family driven and youth guided, culturally and linguistically competent organization. From the warm inviting colors used throughout the site, to event schedules posted, resources made available and the language translator, the site not only provides resources for families but also provides insightful information for the community.

Now that the site is complete, ABC is looking forward to helping OnCare unveil several public awareness campaigns, so stay tuned CNY!
